A Kingdom

That show’s His Glory and not yours or mine…

God calls us to adapt. So, we need to adjust for the season and adapt to the time. We can’t live as if the whole world is on Common Core, we have to accept God’s leading and follow him, no matter what our neighbor, or our church buddies are doing.

Sometimes we have to just follow Him.

Jeremiah 1:18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.

God has a plan for our lives and He sets us about His work, within his plan. I’m not going to give you the whole sermon, you can click below and listen to it yourself. But I am going to give you just a bit of what I got out of it.

God created us as individuals and gave each of us a purpose. He gave us a purpose to fulfill and a work to be done. And he gave us the skills and ability to do those works. He doesn’t hesitate to raise us up to his purpose, nor should we hesitate to get up and stand on his promise to fulfill his purpose through us.

In simple words, wherever it is that God has put you, that is where you should be. Whatever talents he’s given you to use, those are the talents you should use. Whatever the PURPOSE God has set you upon, HE has given you whatever it is that you need to accomplish that purpose.

Jeremiah 1:4 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

God knew you. God knew where he would put you. God gave you what you need to accomplish the task he’s set for you.

And the people said, “Amen.”
